RE: Sunnybrook Brookside vs. Cougar X-lite

I have a 2008 Brookside 5er, and like it very much. I did a fair amount of research before buying, and am still happy with my decision.
What was your biggest reason for going with Sunnybrook? Was it the quality? Is the AX5 frame as solid as it looks in the pictures?

Sunnybrook Brookside vs. Cougar X-lite

I am debating between the Brookside 297RBH Rear Bunk house:
http://www.sunnybrookrv.com/brookside/floorplans/297BHS.php
and the Cougar X-lite 29BHS rear bunk house:
http://www.keystone-xlite.com/?page=detail&year=2009&model=29BHS
I want an RV with a solid frame and good quality. I currently have an Open Road by Pilgrim and I am not impressed with the quality. the wooden frame seems to shift over time causing doors to not open and close correctly and the paneling on the inside to bulge out.
I'd really like to hear your thoughts on these two models. The AX5 aluminium frame on the Sunnybrook looks like its very solid. Is the Cougar's fram comprable?

Fun n Sun RV in MI / Sunnybrook-rv.com

Any of you done business with Fun N Sun RV in Michigan?
I found these two sites on the internet for Sunnybrook RVs and they appear to be the same place:
http://www.sunnybrook-rv.com/
http://www.fun-n-sun-rv.com/Home/tabid/11302/Default.aspx
Their prices are much lower then other places. Are they legit? Anyone out there have experience doing business with either place? I would like to hear about your experience.
Thanks.

Battery Chrg while Towing - Why doesn't it work???

I tow a 34tt with the standard 6 pin connector. One of the pins is for battery charging. I checked it with a vote meter and there is power when the truck is running. I traced the line on the RV side and it does connect back to the RV batteries.
Question - why doesn't my RV batteries get charged by this while the truck is running and I'm towing it?
Is there something wrong? Is there a way to make this work.
Are your RV batteries charged while you are driving/towing your rv?
Thanks for any infor you guys have on this.

Pismo Beach Oceano Dunes SVRA - Pull 34 ft TT on beach?

I look at pictures of Pismo Beach Oceano Dunes SVRA area and there were alot of 5th wheels, TT, and motorhomes on the beach.
I have a 34 foot Travel trailer towed by a stock Ford Superduty 4x4 single rear wheel F350 Super Crew. Is it a good idea to tow the RV onto the beach and boondock on the beach? What are my chances of getting stuck?
Would love to hear from people who have been there and pulled their RV on the beach.
Thanks!
